This was a perfectly acceptable stay. Some changed to the rooms were noted...great showers, new curtains. But same old furniture and carpet. Breakfast was more than adequate...just lacking in a bit of finesse. Staff were friendly and helpful. Handy location for my visit. Would recommend and would return.

First time here , but the rooms were fairly spacious , clean, and I always check mattress! Excellent , good lighting , lovely bathroom items provided , shampoo etc, my only wish would be that the shower wasn’t in the bath ! Due to bad knees , but water hot and good pressure , tea coffee fasciitis provided in room , we ate in the restaurant , food was great , well priced , and hot on arrival. Breakfast included , buffet style , good , plenty on offer , ( but the tea was not very warm , ) all in all great value for money , very friendly staff in all areas , and I’d definitely stay here next visit to Irvine . ⭐️

What a lovely place to spend a few days very clean and well decorated hotel. Room and bathroom were very clean with a bath tub for me and a shower for my lady. Always a good thing. However, we thought that the bed was a little to hard for us. We never ran out of clean towels as staff must have replaced them every time we were out. Talking of staff, all were lovely and welcoming. Reception staff were very helpful with all of the information I kept asking them. Breakfast staff were very pleasant and attentive. My lady had the cooked breakfast for a couple of days which she said was excellent. I just had cereal and fruit every morning which was my usual. Bowls could have been bigger so I did not need to go back so often though. I loved the beer but my lady never said what she thought about her Chardonnay. She did however take a shine to one of the male barmen and kept asking for him to serve her. Did not get his name. A couple of things that I had issues with. Room doors would not close quietly you had to pull them a bit harder to slam them. So, late at night and early in the mornings all you heard were other guests slamming doors. Toilet paper was WAY TO THIN meaning we had to fold it a number of times to use it. My lady was complaining that there was no full length mirror or an electric socket next to the bed as she likes to listen to Siri on her phone during the night. Of course it would have been good for me to plug an alarm. Lovely stay though.

So called “family room” was the size of a shoebox. Barely enough room for the two of us. Sandwiches, as promised, not available for diabetics until 2300. Useless. Had to find a local shop. Staff were very pleasant.

good location for work and Golf, staff were excellent from check in , breakfast evening meal etc rooms were clean and tidy although showing a little sign of wear and tear but that would be being fussy only thing for me was my room wasn't filled up with Milk , coffee the next day but no drama. The bar area had been updated and was very nice and lots of comfortable seating. The bedrooms could do with updating bedside cabinets on one side only. Toilet and shower area clean but tired looking. Breakfast was warm but not a varied choice. The reception staff were excellent and managed to arrange an early check in.

Reception and lounge were lovely and welcoming. Staff at reception were efficient. Food was a bit slow and ok. Wrong order was brought to our table. So one of our diners got the wrong food but didn't realise until she started eating it. Breakfast was very acceptable. Enough of a variety for most . Bedrooms were looking very tired. They were ok but could definitely do with an upgrade. All in all it was fine for a couple of nights.

Reception, lu”lounge and bar area give an impression of a quality hotel. Unfortunately the bedrooms and food do not match up. Some serious money needs spending on the rooms and the catering for functions needs a good look at too. We left very disappointed
