Traditional stone terraced cottage with outstanding views over Loch Fyne to Castle Lachlan and Inver Cottage. Sleeps four comfortably.
The cottage is situated in an ideal location for visiting the Argyll area. Whether you like walking, cycling, sailing or fishing there's something for everyone. Walk in the footsteps of ancient Scottish Kings, cycle along the Crinan Canal or fish on the Loch. Or for something more relaxing, visit Fyne Ales at the top of Loch Fyne and sample their craft beers and visit the Loch Fyne Oyster Bar to taste some exceptional Scottish smoked salmon and oysters.
Free slipway for launching small boats / kayaks nearby. The cottage is twelve miles south of Inverarary (Castle/Jail/Whisky/Restaurants/Beer Garden). Lots of easy low level walks and cycling routes nearby. For more demanding walks the Arrochar Alps are forty minutes away (eg The Cobbler).
If you have time take a day trip to the islands of Gigha or Arran (brewery and distillery).
Visit Oban (and perhaps Mull) or Tarbert (great fish and chips). However, a visit to Kilmarten Glen with its many prehistoric sites and Dunadd Fort is a must and is just a 30 minute drive away.
Go further afield and visit Campbeltown or the Mull of Kintyre, made famous in the song by Paul McCartney and Wings.
The cottage has recently been extended to include a sitting / dining area adjacent to the kitchen.
The cozy lounge has views to the loch and features a modern wood burning stove.
Bedroom 1 has a King sized bed with a memory foam mattress with views out to the loch. Look out for the fish farm boats heading south in the morning.
