Expedia market as a 'cottage' and the pin shows a central Woolacombe location. Its actually in a holiday/residential park above Woolacombe. The park its in has a run down feel to it and the first impression was of deep disappointment. Once you've moved in then its a lovely property on the inside. "Nice apartment, ideal positioning, Illfracombe is very steep, but lovely walks to be had. Car parking is free after 6pm in the town also. We didn’t use the facilities but pool looked a decent size. Cushions on the bed were very hard. Could maybe do with a couple of soft ones in the wardrobe as a just incase. Lovely place overall. "

"We were hoping for a holiday cottage in a location where we didn't have to drive everyday to be somewhere interesting. Appledore is a perfect little village/town for a quiet holiday but it still feels alive with plenty of people around and activities going on. We enjoyed seeing locals going out on rowing practices in the evenings - I would love to be this close to the see to have this as a hobby. There is a very good selection of well rated eateries - we recommend the Flame Factory and both the fish and chip places. The cottage itself was comfortable and homely. "
