Our short term rental is 13 feet off the ground, with luxury amenities including a hot tub, heated floors in the bathroom, a cozy king bed loft, and a fireplace. Guest Access: The Treeframe Cabin, private hot tub, the forest walking trails behind the cabin, river access along gravel driveway over the stage behind Clay Baby, the gray cabin and the acre of grass field. The Neighborhood: We are the most upriver piece of land in The Skyko River Tracts #5 neighborhood. It is about .2 miles outside of the majestic little town of Index WA. The gravel road community consists of little cabins, forest, mountain, and river views. Getting Around: You can bike or run from the cabin to town or to nearby trails. Most people drive as the main road (Index Galena) can have fast traffic. Please park in the two spaces in front of the stairs to your treehouse. Other Things to Note: New projector is SMART, no connecting cables required. We now offer grocery service! Please send us your list to have your fridge and pantry stocked. This property couldn’t have been more perfect. Quiet, secluded, top amenities, yet still close enough to Seattle that we could explore the whole area. There are skylights above the bed where you can fall asleep with the trees and stars above you. You can sit on the deck or in the hot tub in amongst the forest. It really is idyllic for an escape and we loved our stay. The host was incredibly responsive, and helpful. However, there are some practical things to be aware of if you’re planning your trip. The cabin is on the smaller side; we were on a two week trip with big suitcases and there was no where for them to go. They were just out in the main living/kitchen space and we felt like we were tripping over them, so pack light! Note there is no hanging space or clothes storage. There is an AC unit, but it’s a stand alone unit that’s been put in as an after thought, so doesn’t fit with the rest of the well finished cabin, and again takes away space. ##### Becky S.
