Top Inca Hotel Reviews

Inotawa Lodge

Inotawa Lodge

10/10 Excellent
"Amazing stay! This place wouldn’t be what it is without the amazing guides! Food was also great! I love how you eat on a big family style table and get to meet guests from all over the world. It was a great end to or Peru trip. The sleeping situation was tough as there were some critters but that’s what you get in the Amazon this deep. So be prepared to maybe deal with that. Over great stay and a memory making experience!"

Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Inca?
The best area to stay in Inca is the town centre, particularly around the Plaza de Armas. This central area is the heart of Inca, offering easy access to local amenities and a practical base for exploring. The Plaza de Armas itself is a pleasant public square, often bustling with local life, and many of the town's essential services, shops, and eateries are located within a few blocks of it. The main market, a hub for local produce and goods, is also a short walk away. For travellers looking for convenience and a central location to organise their jungle excursions, the area around the Plaza de Armas is ideal. Most tour operators have offices here, making it straightforward to book and depart for trips into the Amazon. It's also where you'll find the most reliable transport links and a good selection of places to eat after a day of exploring.Couples often find the town centre suitable for its accessibility and the ability to easily arrange activities.
When is the best time to go to Inca?
The best time to visit Inca is during the dry season, which runs from May to October.During these months, you'll experience less rainfall and clearer skies, making it ideal for exploring the region's natural beauty and ancient sites. The weather is generally sunny and pleasant, with daytime temperatures averaging around 25-30°C. This period is particularly good for outdoor activities like hiking and wildlife spotting in the nearby rainforest. If you're planning to visit the Peruvian Amazon, which is a major draw near Inca, the dry season offers more comfortable conditions for river excursions and jungle treks. The trails are less muddy, and wildlife is often easier to spot near the rivers. While the dry season is popular, the shoulder months of April and November can also be good options.

You can cancel your hotel reservation on Expedia, though it depends on the cancellation policy of your booking. Most bookings are refundable if canceled within 24-48 hours of the scheduled arrival. Be sure to check your booking confirmation for the exact cancellation policy.
