"The location is the best part of this hotel: only a ten minute walk around the bay with the most breathtaking views of Korcula Old Town. And you really don’t need to spend extra on a balcony with a sea view unless you’re someone who spends a lot of time in your hotel room because you get the views from the communal spaces. Having said that, our room was quite dingy and dated with quite an old, thick carpet on the floor that I didn’t want to walk on bare-footed, so it’s a good job we don’t spend much time in hotel rooms! The bed was comfortable and it was superficially clean but daily cleaning wasn’t very thorough - a dirty cup was left for the three days we were there. Breakfast was good and they very kindly allowed us to order room service in the bar. When I didn’t like a cocktail I’d ordered, they didn’t take it off the bill, which surprised me considering it’s a four star hotel. I’d book again, purely for the location."
Pharos Hvar Bayhill Hotel

"Though it’s definitely not outwardly attractive, it’s bright and modern. Our room was fine: compact but comfortable. If you used all the coffee and tea you had to pay for more, which I thought was unsatisfactory for a four star hotel! Breakfast was really good with a lot of choice and freshly made omelettes made with real eggs. The food from the menu was also very good. The swimming pool was well kept but they played very loud music which you couldn’t get away from as there were speakers everywhere - it’s Croatia not Vegas!! The staff were friendly but I expected more help when one of our bags didn’t arrive; they relayed messages but didn’t take the problem away from us so we had to speak to the relevant people ourselves and go down to the harbour to pick up the bag when it arrived four days later. This meant that we couldn’t totally relax and go too far away in case our bag arrived. From a four star hotel I expected them to take on the problem, liaise with the relevant people and pick up the bag for us. That was disappointing. It’s a nice hotel. Just be aware there are loads of steps or slopes to navigate from the harbour. I like the workout but my husband didn’t! If you’re not fit it might not be the place for you."

"We were traveling with 12 other friends on holiday to Croatia. We all enjoyed the trip especially this hotel in Bol. This is a beautiful Hotel. The breakfast buffet was amazing. Made to order omlets were delicious as was the fresh fruit, meat, cheese and coffee. The hotel is spread out into sections, so there is a lot of walking within the hotel. Access to the pramenade was just a walk out the door. This took you to many restaurants, other hotels and the Sea. Or you could walk into town for shopping and many more restaurants. Would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Bol."

"Beautiful well maintained and brand new. Staff was amazing always happy to help. My only criticism is that the pool is completely covered so you cannot be in the sun if in the pool. The beach is very nice, views are spectacular."

"Amazing hotel with amazing staff! They were so helpful and friendly, and even provided taxi rides when requested :) it is near a beautiful beach, and despite being lots of hills and some stairs the views and walks to the main pier are absolutely breathtaking. Felt extremely safe as a solo traveler :)"

"Apartment size, spacious, big deck, kitchen with utensils, quiet, pool I didn’t have time to use, lounge suite, toiletries which not many places provide unless 4*5*, big bathroom Only slight negative wifi worked in bedroom but not living area"
