« This was the first time that the place we'd booked turned out to be even more beautiful and spacious than it appeared in the photos! A 10 minute walk from a gorgeous beach, mobile grocery delivery, a lovely coffee shop down the road, a sustainable local stall in the other direction, just steps from the cottage, with a view of a beautiful mountain and bay from the living room and kitchen. « A bit of a walk to town, but we enjoy a walk. It was perfect for catching the ferry to Ullapool. The original postcode led us astray until we entered the actual address. Overall a pleasant stay. »

« The location of the cottage in Carloway is great for exploring the island of Lewis, it’s archeological sites, many walks and hikes. There is a well stocked shop in town for anything you need. The house is cozy and peaceful looking out on the loch in front. The kitchen has good supplies for cooking. It is the perfect place for rest and renewal in the beauty of the western isles, and also as a base for outdoor activities. »
