« Amazingly nice.. was driving from Frankfurt to Amsterdam and stopping to see a friend in Borken. This seemed like a good option and it was. My only one critic would be better and more pillows on bed. The ones they had on ours were extremely loose and not supportive so they collapsed easily. Had to compress and roll into a ball to get any support. Outside that one small complaint, fantastic and well taken care of and the town is adorable. »

« I chose this w/o knowing what to expect. Needed a place for 2 nights to be close to family. Small town atmosphere which had a great ladies store walking distance. The Hotel itself had great food and many patrons were eating on the patio on Saturday afternoon. The diningroom was busy w locals inside as well in the evening. Our room was spacious and clean. Breakfast for 15 euro was good value. The only thing we didnt like was the bed cover was too heavy and extra pillow choices would be better...

"Silverfish in the bathroom, it wasn't the cleanest - shabby carpeting and dirt marks around one of the wall paintings. While it was nice to have a large room and balcony, with no kitchen utensils (you have to ask front desk for them) and "green" housekeeping (i.e. they don't want to pay for housekeepers or for new toilet rolls/soap refills) I don't think it justifies the price. Outside soundproofing is good but inside not good. Kept awake by yelling children and thudding from above. The staff were lovely and breakfast was good, I think the hotel chain could do better though."
