We came overnight for a wedding from out of state.
Check in was simple, house was clean and comfortable, and I slept like a log in the bed.
There were mints on our pillows, and a couple snacks on the table.
Marked down only because there was no hot tub as advertised. No idea why that is listed.

Don't let the exterior appearance chase you away; the interior is better.
This cottage is old, so temper your expectations. If I were riding through town alone, this place would suffice as a place to spend one night. Keep in mind there is no motel in town. Other than that, I would advise others to plan to spend the night in another, larger, town. (Huntington is a dump, basically).
Stayed 2 nights for a family gathering in Huntington canyon, we had easy access to old folks flat group campgrounds, wish there were better restaurants in town, but otherwise we had a good weekend

I was a bit disappointed with the cleanliness of this house. Walked in, the home appeared to be a little worn down. Then after walking through, the owners closet/room was open, and a pillow case was left on a dresser. Not too big of a deal. Then we went to use the pots and pans, they were absolutely disgusting. Like they hadn't been even looked at by the owner/cleaner. We turned on the oven to use it, opened up and there was a dirty pan in there, that hadn't been washed at all. I shared ALL of this information with the owner, and I was completely ignored. They texted me a hello/welcome and a goodbye text. But nothing about the problematic situations. They didn't even tell me how to handle the owners room being open. I would think that they would be worried about it. My parents own a home in Florida and they rent it out. I know how this whole thing goes. The beds were amazing, slept like a teenager. The bathroom, well that in itself was something to behold. Though for the price of this home, it was bearable. Oh and the amount of air freshners in the house was crazy. We ended up having to unplug two of them because it was excessive and we all ended up with headaches. I hope the owner really takes this to heart and fixes these cleanliness issues. Other than these issues, it was a nice place to be, felt like walking in to Grandma's house.

Clean and well cared for. Nicely stocked with everything we needed, that you would expect at a home (no shampoo etc.) Plenty of space, except the bathroom. It was a small bathroom that could use some shelf or free counter space.
This is a lovely little house! It’s only two hours away from Arches Nat’l Park and the Canyonlands, but that whole area is lousy with other national and state parks, so it’s an awesome spot to stay if you’re hoping to explore! The house is cozy and quiet, and very comfortable! My sister and I really enjoyed the fact that it’s quite old-fashioned. It really does feel like somewhere your grandmother might have lived. Much of the furniture is antique, as well as the decor. The appliances and facilities are all modern, though, so it’s very nice. The only complaint my sister and I had throughout our short stay was that the bathroom is quite cramped. It’s not suitable for even one person to be in, really. The room is very thin and long, and the sink juts out in front of the toilet uncomfortably close. The kitchen is quite large, and there’s plenty of family space, though. I expect it would be difficult to stay here with more than three people in your party. We did find that the bathroom was not very clean. There was dust and cobwebs around the sink and the floor seemed to not have been swept. But other than that, the house was very clean! The coil burners on the stove were rickety and tilted, and we could not get a pot to sit straight on them. The house did not have a grater or potato masher, but otherwise the kitchen is fully equipped, and there is a dishwasher! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and will be renting it again, should we ever come back to the area!
