"The place is big and comfortable, the shower is perfect - hot with good pressure. Breakfast is good - eggs, bread and jam, coca tea, coffee and juice. The staff are great and knowledgeable about tours and can arrange them for you . The only negative is that there are many neighbourhood dogs which are so noisy barking all night that I couldn't sleep well. Bring earplugs. The hotel is highly recommended."

"El Tumi must be the Fawlty Towers of Peru. Very friendly staff, and very little that really works. The toilet in my room would only flush if I had the hot wayer tap in the sink running. "The hotel was hard to find and the Google Maps route was incorrect. I finally found it using GaiaGPS. Staff were nice and friendly. The room was stuffy, dingy and not too clean. It did have a private bath. Breakfast is included, service was friendly but slow. Our rom looked out on a brick wall with barbed wire on top. It was pretty quiet."
