Nang Rong
8.8 out of 10, Excellent, (6 reviews)
"The hotel is a good regular hotel, designed for Thai travellers rather than International guests. As such it does very well for those acustomed to Thai style. Good clean rooms, big beds, minimal decoration, a basic bathroom with instantaneous water heating, a wardrobe and bar fridge. Rural Thailand as you find it. The owners don't speak English but a translation on your phone does wonders and they have the little things.. like toilet paper 😀"

Top Hu Thamnop Hotel Reviews

Phanomrung Puri Boutique Hotels and Resorts

Phanomrung Puri Boutique Hotels and Resorts

10/10 Excellent
"Newly remodeled room was clean and comfortable. The included breakfast was delicious. The omelette lady's omelettes were probably the best I've had in an included breakfast buffet. The pool and restaurant grounds are beautiful at night with live music. I'll definitely be returning to this gem."

This central area provides the most convenient access to local amenities and the primary attractions. It's where you'll find the local market, a few small shops, and eateries. The general layout is fairly spread out, but the crossroads act as a focal point.

Couples looking for a quiet retreat will appreciate the relaxed pace of life here. Staying centrally means you're close to the village's main temple, Wat Hu Thamnop, which offers a glimpse into local culture. It's also a good base for exploring the surrounding countryside and enjoying the peaceful rural setting.

For travellers interested in local life and a relaxed pace, this central part of Hu Thamnop offers a genuine experience.
When is the best time to go to Hu Thamnop?

The weather is superb for leisurely strolls through historical sites and enjoying outdoor dining without the discomfort of intense heat or unexpected downpours. It's also a good time to experience local festivals that often take place during the cooler months.

For those interested in cultural exploration, this dry season also coincides with several local events and festivals, offering a deeper insight into the traditions of the Buriram province.
