Chateau Hradec nad Moravicí, Czech republic
Chateau Hradec nad Moravicí was originally Czech king's castle from 13th century. It is located on a hill over the small town of the same name, near to Opava in north east Silesia region of Czech republic. There were several reconstructions done and the last one was in Neogothical style in 19th century. Chateau Hradec nad Moravicí was originally Czech king's castle from 13th century. It is located on a hill over the small town of the same name, near to Opava in north east Silesia region of Czech republic. There were several reconstructions done and the last one was in Neogothical style in 19th century. "10 mins, # 14 tram, ride from main train station (get off at Elektra stop about 7 or stops from station) and then a 2 mins walk to hotel. Check in was easy although early, we just ended up having lunch in the lobby restaurant (great food) until room ready. Rooms were clean, although you could not adjust the temp and we found the rooms warm, especially when sleeping. Windows opened, but no screens. Breakfast was amazing and so good! Staff are very friendly and English was spoken by most. (This is a very quiet area we found when we went out walking). Overall, would definitely book again!"
