The Appalachian trail is only a quick walk down the road as well. This is the perfect combination of in-town and private you will find in Hot Springs! Hurricane Helene Update: The cabin is up a hill and was not harmed from the storm. Power and water are working--and the hot tub is ready for you! While the town is rebuilding, there are still a few stores for necessities open. Large enough for families and small enough for couples. It can be an easy getaway for parents and children or for a couple looking for a relaxing, romantic time away. The master bath/shower area is beautiful with the mountain views. The living room/kitchen area is incredible. Slight issue when arriving but it was very quickly and easily resolved. PJ, the host, was quick to answer my call and handle the issue quickly and without worry. The town of Hot Springs was hit hard by Hurricane Helene much like all of western NC but they have reopened some restaurants and the brewery.
