As this suite is the penthouse level of 'The Diamond Stack' at the Waikiki Banyan, it is 60 sq. feet larger than other suites and offers three more windows and higher ceilings creating a larger living space. Our newly remodeled bathroom is a great addition to our clean and comfortable penthouse in paradise. There is a view from almost everywhere in the apartment. Open all the blinds and enjoy seeing large expanses of Waikiki. Sit up in bed and the ocean view awaits you... The mirrored dining table wall allows you to see the view even if you're not looking directly out the window. This is a premier view condo. If you are a boogie boarder or surfer you can look out and view the surf break. Look through the binoculars and maybe you'll be lucky enough to spot a whale. Our condo is both romantic and family friendly for all ages. We have created a relaxing and comfortable Hawaiian style environment that is welcoming and fun. It is very cluttered with furniture with nothing to anchor it. Basically just lots of furniture The refrigerator needs thorough cleaning or replacing as do some cooking utensils. Breathtaking views, great location, free parking and no one above to keep you up at night :) Beaches, stores, restaurants and zoo were walking distance away. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning views and the peaceful atmosphere. The home was exactly as described—spacious, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay.The location was ideal for exploring the island, with easy access to the beach, hiking trails, and local shops. We especially enjoyed spending time on the beach just a short walk away. The neighborhood felt safe, and we felt right at home from day one.The host was incredibly responsive and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Perched high above the city, the top floor corner location has a commanding view and invites the tradewinds in for lovely cross-ventilation. Even on the 38th floor, the street noise was a bit much at night so we closed them and ran the A/C. The location is super convenient to the park, beaches, Diamond Head, shopping, restaurants, etc. It's uncommon for guests to cook in this kitchen but we did. It is fairly well equipped and we made some tasty meals and enjoyed them on the balcony. There is no dishwasher but that wasn't a problem for the two of us. The pool/spa deck recently closed for renovation, and also the BBQ grills, which was a little disappointing but we came for the beach, right? Marilyn, the host, is super attentive and helpful. From booking to leaving our stay at this condo, made our vacation a little piece of heaven on earth. The owners went out of their way to make sure that we had everything that we need. She met us at the Waikiki. Banyan, ran up the parking to meet us in our parking spot, and personally took us on a tour of the condo. We had to change our dates for booking and she was extremely friendly and accommodating. She even sent us a welcome video prior to arrival. I have been using VRBO for many years and have stayed at numerous locations. This wonderful couple was by far the best ever!!! ##### Angela P. Not only can you lie in bed and look at the ocean. you and also look at Diamond Head. The apartment is located at the quiet end of Waikiki just a block from the ocean front at Queens and a few blocks from the park. It doesn’t get much better than this. Marilyn and Robert were exceedingly helpful and friendly hosts. If you like music, Blue Note Hawaii is a short walk away with world class music at a fraction of the price in NY. Marilyn was fantastic, she was extremely accommodating and had great communication! She met us for check in. Pointed out where to park in the garage. Showed us her beautiful penthouse and gave us all the information we needed to know. We even had to bother her to get us a package we sent through Amazon. She was very kind enough to get it for us and leave it in the room. The view was amazing! Place was spacious enough for a family of 3\. It was a short walk to the beach and shops.
