    The hotel unit is located in the heart of Waikiki. It is only 2 blocks to the beach and walking distance to all the restaurants, shops, grocery store, the Honolulu zoo & Waikiki Aquarium. Close to bus stops that can take you to all the destinations you want to go, whether you want to hike Diamond Head, snorkeling at Hanauma Bay and visit the historic Pearl Harbor.

It was close enought to walk to most everything in town and beach. It was a good Enough property for the price. Roy checks in via VRBO txt to make sure everything is good and is very responsive

Roy was a fantastic host, he went above and beyond. Hawaii was hit with a pretty disastrous tropical storm, where the power went out a couple times. He went above and beyond to double check on us. He is extremely gracious along with the stay. I will recommend anybody to stay at one of his listings.Because he truly cares about the people staying in his rentals!

Convenient for exploring Waikiki--an easy walk to the beach, restaurants and stores. Also near the bus stop to see other areas of Honolulu. The property was clean. It was small, especially for four people, but that was expected.

10 min walk from Beach

This is a combination of permanent apartments and a hotel. Location to the beach and restaurants was convenient. The place was clean and had amenities, a full fridge, shampoo/conditioner, hair dryer. microwave. The only thing I wish it had was pool towels. We had to use our shower towels(only 3 towels for 3 ppll) for 3 days. I would stay again and recommend to friends/family. TY for the quick communication from the owner! We didn't use the air conditioner at all, just left windows open.

Accommodating Host

Roy was very accommodating when our flight was delayed both to and from Honolulu. We were surprised though that the twin bed was not made up when we arrived (it’s made up in the pictures). We were a mother and son traveling together and booked this room because of the separate beds. I contacted Roy and he explained that the twin bed costs extra but would permit us to use it because of the misunderstanding. A few incidental things were missing that keeps me from giving a perfect rating: A dish towel, face tissues, a clean coffee maker, coffee filters, paper towels

Honolulu mini vaca

The room was tidy which was nice. However, a couple of the pillow cases and fitted sheets looked stained which was a slight bothersome. There was a sink, dishes and dish soap but nothing to scrub or dry the dishes with. We were provided with bathroom towels/ hand towels/ wash clothes (one for each of us) but no dish towels. The return air vent in the bathroom was covered with dust and lint, needed a good cleaning. The bathroom sink was super annoying as the sides of the bowl styled sink came up high and the faucet was super short which made it impossible to wash your hands without touching the bottom and back side of the sink. We ended up using the kitchenette sink most of the time for that reason. The hallways to the room were a bit dark and needed some updating. On the positive, the property is super close to shopping and the beach. There are laundry facilities on site which are easy to access. It’s difficult to find parking so if you’re renting a car, good luck with that. The onsite parking was always full and not available the duration of our stay.

De accomodatie lag op een geweldige plek. Vlakbij betaalbare winkelstraten met veel eetgelegenheden maar ook in de buurt van een prachtige winkelstraat met de bekende duurdere merken. Ook Waikiki beach lag op enkele minuten lopen. Parkeren is wel een dingetje maar aldoende leert men en is er echt gratis te parkeren bij het kanaal of in de wat verder gelegen straten van de woonwijk. Wij verbleven met z'n drieën in het appartement en dat was goed te doen. Alles is goed geregeld door de eigenaar en hij reageert snel op vragen. Het appartement in hetcAqua Aloha Surf hotel is dus een aanrader

Awesome cozy and clean property.The bed configuration with two beds and one large sofa bed is perfect for a family of 4. Host is very responsive and attentive to all our needs. This place is close to everything and walking distance to Waikiki Beach, Shopping, Grocery and restaurants. If you want to explore rest of Honolulu, the Bus stop is also within one block. We explored Pearl Harbor and Ala Moana mall via bus and it was fun. Definitely recommend and will rebook next time I am in Honolulu.
