The kitchen with utensils worked great. The location was perfect for us. A grocery store literally 2 minutes away. A great little park with PB courts and a playground for kids. The only thing that we thought could be better would be to rearrange the living room. Move the couches out to where you could sit and enjoy that wonderful view. You have to be very careful about the amount of water that you used. A water truck comes around once a week to fill the tank. So water is limited. The views were spectacular from nearly every room in the house. The kitchen was well-stocked with pots and pans, and we were able to cook for ourselves without any trouble. It was also very convenient for us to have a place with two bathrooms, which we didn't see in a lot of Homer listings. While our friends saw a moose down the hill from the property, we never did see them. The house was perfect, the second you pull in, it just feels like home. The view is gorgeous and there were even a few moose napping in the yard. There is plenty to do inside the house on a rainy day and a ton to keep you busy in Homer, just a short drive away. There were new appliances and everything was in great condition. The caretaker was very prompt and helpful. The house was very comfortable. We saw moose right out the window and loved the location. We will definitely be back. ##### Denise B.
