« I have been going to Homer for my birthday for 15 years and have stayed many different places. This is one of my favorite. The perfect location-easy access to everything Homer has to offer. »

« The cottage was clean and nicely appointed. Tom takes great care to insure the comfort of his guests. It truly felt like home. »

« Good: rooms were big and airy. Bad: paid deposit at time of booking and the other half was supposed to be paid at stay but the 2nd payment was charged to my credit card a month before actual stay. Had 2 pull out couches, 1 the frame was broken and the other was uncomfortable »

« We were very disappointed, as it did not match the pictures. Property was unkempt and overgrown with weeds. The outhouse had cobwebs and was not very clean. The cottage was a bit rundown, and poorly supplied. There were no paper towels or tissues, and only 2 little kitchen towels and 1 washcloth, so it was difficult to maintain any decent hygiene, or even wash the dishes. If you are considering this place, bring towels and all your own supplies. »

« Everything about this property exceeded our expectations. Private, clean and close to town. The best part of staying here was watching the mother moose and her 2 babies from the hot tub.The owners are very friendly and helpful if you need anything.Wonderful place. »

« Beautiful setting and quiet neighborhood. The building seems to lack insulation against noise from the upstairs apartment. We could hear people peeing in the toilet above the bedrooms, every step they took and doors closing. When the toilets flush or water runs there’s also a loud pump. The walls inside the apartment are thin as well. So if noise is an issue for you to get a good night sleep this probably isn’t a good place to stay. We enjoyed sitting outside on the porch. »

« The cabin has a far nicer kitchen than I expected and it was immaculate when we showed up. The location is beautiful right on a lake with sand hill cranes flying right over us. Close proximity to everything we wanted to do in beautiful Homer. »
