While it is small, the space is used well and it was perfect for a couple with two young children. The walk to the beach is about a tenth of a mile with no road crossings so it was very doable. The updates that have been done are super cute. It was within walking distance to the pool and beach. We rode our bikes to some shops and to get snow cones at Pelicans. Everything else was within a short driving distance away. The only thing I suggest is updating the bed in the bedroom. It was really small (full I believe?) where as the description says queen. Not that big of a deal but it would of been a lot more comfortable since our son tried to sleep with us one night and that couldn't happen in there. The couch bed is ridiculously uncomfortable but thankfully we didn't have to use it except the one night to sleep with our son close by. Thank you for having everything we could need to make us feel at home while enjoying our vacation. We will be back very soon Topsail Island!! ##### Melanie M. We have been staying at surf for years and this unit was out favorite! No one above us was the best!! So peaceful and quite! Had everything we needed!! I would suggest all condos have KING size beds.
