"We loved our stay at the C-Shore Retreat. Being steps away from the beach is initially what sold us on booking, but actually walking in, we were wowed by the view and the beauty of this home. House was clean, beds were super comfortable and kitchen was stocked well.As dog owners we appreciated this rental being dog friendly. We didn’t do too much shopping nearby, but do pick up local cod and oysters from Surf City Crab which was a hit! 10/10 would recommend to others.And if you’re lucky, keep an eye out for dolphins in the morning! "

"Been coming to Topsail/Surf City for over 20 yrs. Rented several properties but this VRBO location is the only one I will stay at in the future. This property has been our family’s spring break for the last 4 yrs. Everything you could want and more. Ted Waltz is an excellent communicator and the property is immaculate and the perfect location for dining out, beach, pool and shopping. "

"This property was perfectly located to the beach, exceptionally clean and well maintained. We went in October so it was a slower season. We loved it… you could open the door and hear the crash of the waves. Beach access was simple and just across the street. Town is walkable for the most part. During busy season, you probably just want walk most of the time. Everyone was very friendly and will be back. "
