This beautiful home is only steps away from the beach! Simply a lovely second-row home that invites you to come inside and enjoy. After a walk on the beach only steps from the home, relax by the pool, enjoy lunch and a nap on the deck, or sit by the fire pit on a winter evening. Located on the first floor is one of the two living rooms. The first floor has three rooms. The first room has a full-sized bed, the second has two bunk beds, and the third has a king bed. All have their own bathrooms. Head upstairs to the rest of the bedrooms and the second living room with a great cathedral ceiling and an updated kitchen with lovely cabinetry, counters, and new appliances that is open to the living and dining areas, providing that open concept living space that is bright and cheerful with plenty of natural light. The bar has seating for six, and the dining table seats 10. The details have not been overlooked, and this is one to put on your list! Come start your forever beach memories at 11 Grey Widgeon! The house was nice and spacious with 5 bedrooms each with en-suite baths. There were 10 of us and we all fit comfortably. The location was terrific with approx 2 block walk to the beach. Only a few small complaints, the refrigerator was rather small for a house that holds that many people. The ice machine struggled to keep up and made a lot of noise. It could only produce about one third the amount of ice that it should. The bunk room stayed pretty warm at night despite the rest is the house being well air conditioned. A fan was provided in the room which was nice but it was still very warm and humid for the 4 tweenagers staying in there. There was an issue with running out of hot water but we did not report it to the rental company until the last day because we didn’t want to deal with repairmen coming in and out during our vacation. The hot water tank seemed large enough to accommodate most of our group but hardly anyone was getting a full hot shower each day. I’m sure that is something that can be resolved. The rental company was very responsive to all of our calls and requests. The house was a great deal given the size and the location, especially since homes on the front row of the beach rent for three times the price. We had a good time and would happily stay there again. ##### Amanda T. The house was jsut as described in the pictures, and the whole process was very easy. We didn't arrive on the island until after 10PM on the day of check-in, and we had no issues. House was beautiful, the accomodations were very nice - and the pool heater was working. Beach was a short walk down the path and very accessible. The neighborhood was very quiet.
