"Was a beautiful place to stay, only negative was the water pressure not the greatest but was a warm and comfortable place to stay. Walking distance to town and the lake just across the road, easy walk around the lake too. Amazing part of the country."

"Very clean property with all the amenities. Close to all the Te Anau activites - boating, biking, hiking and a great home base for Milford and Doubtful Sounds. We're very happy we chose to stay at Laybak Retreat."
