The room was nice and clean. When checking in, there were two men working. We had one of them waiting on us and my husband had his debit card laying on top of his wallet on the counter and the other man reached over and snatched the debit card without any explanation. On the second morning, which was check out day, at 7am I woke up and there was the man from the front desk with his hands cupped around his face looking through the window at us. I went to the door and opened it and he went running away. At checkout, I took the door cards back to the front office. He did not want to come to the desk until I said I had an issue. Once he came to the desk I approached him about what had happened that morning telling him I knew it was him and he didn't have anything to say and turned around and walked away back to the back. We will not be returning because of that creep!!!! Beware!!!!

Manager was very nice !! Property was a little run down but the rooms are very clean inside !! Coffee in rooms was nice !! Beds were clean and firm !! Floors was clean !! Tv worked well !! Was pretty quiet!! Would stay there again !!

Decent place to stay, not fancy but reasonable price. Close to the interstate. Room was clean and comfortable. At least they don't pretend to offer a breakfast, which in some places has evolved into a coffee and pastry.

I booked this hotel for an overnight stay with my service animal while I was traveling home. When I arrived to check in they asked if I had any animals. I explained I had a service animal. The clerk stated they could not accept my reservation. I explained that it was a service animal. He state they only have two rooms for service animals and they were booked. When I asked about a refund, he told me I had to call the agency I booked with. Expedia was able to refund my money, but I was very upset that I was refused due to a registered service animal.

Great owner.

I was pleased with my stay at the Economy Inn. Check in was smooth and the room was clean. The thing that through it over the top was running into the owner the next morning. He stopped and talked to me, asked if I was happy with my stay and wanted to know if he could do anything to make it better. To me this is above the call and warranted a review of an excellent rating.

Not bad for the area, wood manufacturing plant next door works until late in the evening. needs building update and repairs but in room amenities have been upgraded.
