"This is our new favourite when we are in the George area. The amenities are excellent. Walking distance to York St where you can find restaurants, bars, fuel stations, etc. The location is seriously awesome, close enough to get onto the N2 to head either toward Mosselbay/Cape Town, or toward Wilderness, Knysna area. "We really enjoyed our stay in Herold’s bay, our host was in touch with us on the lead up to the stay and then met us on the location and helped us with parking, she was very friendly. The room had a wonderful view over the beach and we loved the convenience of the restaurant next door to our stay. It had everything we needed for our night’s stay before heading off to George airport the following morning."
