"Be prepared for a very low budget hotel. Arriving late at night it seemed like an unsafe area of town. The front door of the hotel was unlocked but I walked in and there were no humans in the lobby, I checked in through a computer kiosk with a live human on the screen who was somewhere else in the world. There is no elevator. We were asked if we were OK with a third floor room by the lady on the computer screen and I told her we were but I did not realize that meant no elevator. A woman traveling alone with three children I did not feel safe until we were in the room and the door was double locked. Once inside the room everything was clean. But it felt so strange that anyone could just walk into the hotel at any time because the only person monitoring the lobby was on a computer screen and not on the premise and I worried about my car in the parking lot getting broken into. Then at 5:45 in the morning the curtains did not do enough to block out the very early morning sun and then the power went out at 6:10 in the morning so no more sleeping in. The power did not come back on until 8 AM and by then we had all gotten ready in the dark. There was staff up and moving in the morning and they seemed very friendly but where were they the night before?"

"I usually try to stay at Home2s when I travel, so I know what to expect with them. This hotel is new, so the mud in the parking lot from surrounding projects was understandable with all the rain recently. The room was clean other than someone’s mouth tape stuck to the fitted sheet in which I feel like a housekeepers should have seen. But the breakfast, oh boy. It was only 9:30 and they were out of silverware, barely any food options, breakfast area was an absolute mess, no coffee, no creamer, no bowls, other guests were having to eat cereal out of coffee mugs and glasses. If you know you’re going to be busy, which they were, you should make sure to make enough food and keep everything stocked. Other than the disappointing and poorly managed breakfast, the fitness room was well stocked with free weights and exercise equipment, rooms were clean and everything well lit and overall nice hotel. Just work on your breakfast."

"The hotel was ok. My room had a partial hole in the wall from the door knob. The tub had an ugly patch on the front wall where a hole or something had been. The bed was clean and comfortable, but spread looked old…. maybe tiny burn marks. While uncontrollable, the second morning, the power was out, which prohibited any normal activities."

"My experience was great because of Kasey, alone! She was amazing! The hotel is old and outdated. Our first room was extremely hot, after I checked in, the temp was at 77 degrees. I turned it all the way down, was gone for a few hours and the temp rose to 78 degrees! With the rising temperature and the smell of mildew (think wet towels) and the refrigerator not cooling, I could not subject my son who was practicing all day in the sun for football to a hot, smelly room. Kasey switched our room, with the air blasting! No smell and it was clean! I would go back if I ever need to go to St. Joe's again, just off the strength of Kasey! Thank you Kasey! <3"

"This hotel was great! Affordable. Easy off the freeway. Very clean all around (lobby, room, bathroom). Friendly front desk staff. Personal ice maker in room fridge was nice. Shampoo/conditioner/body wash provided in shower. Very comfy beds and the best hotel pillows we’ve ever experienced. Parking was plentiful and easy. No breakfast so we hit Starbucks nearby. Absolutely recommend for a quick overnight passing through."
