We were a party of 8,ranging in age of 53-77, visiting for Oktoberfest since we had all been stationed together in Germany in the 80s. The weather was not very cooperative, so we spent a LOT of time in the cabin, which made catching up even easier.This cabin was without a doubt the BEST outfitted short term rental I have ever used, there was absolutely everything one could possibly need. It was spacious enough inside and glorious outside, beautifully decorated as well; the pictures online do not truly do it justice.The owner was very quick to respond to any questions or concerns and provided a warm welcome. A couple folks in our party were already considering a possible return with their own families in the future. I would definitely rent this cabin again if with a large group or family event.P.S. Far enough from main street to feel like you’re on a cabin getaway, close enough that you can walk 5 minutes into town. And you can hear live music from the restaurant down the street which creates a great ambience but soft enough to be tuned out.The cabin itself was plenty comfortable for 8 people (we could have fit more), and so thoughtfully decorated and well stocked (including poles for tubing). There are many places to relax, inside and out (the porch was my fave). This idyllic cozy cottage is in a prime location to be secluded enough to enjoy your privacy but a short walk to all the things! We enjoyed the fire pit every night all while listening to the live music just a few hundred feet away. The home is well stocked with absolutely anything you might need during your stay. The outdoor space with grill, picnic table, large patio and fire pit was the highlight for us.
