« From start to finish our stay was truly exceptional. We felt very privileged to stay in such a magnificent home!! Everything was truly 1st class, from the beautiful suite we stayed in, the incredible breakfast washed down with bubbly (how decadent) and two of the most generous, warm, interesting and welcoming couple you could ever meet. « We had a wonderful stay in the Pavillion at Brunger House. The location is fantastic for Tenterden and other nearby spots (eg Chapel Down) and the cottage itself is superbly kitted out to a very high standard. Add to that the excellent hosts and oh so thoughtful little touches, and I’ve no hesitation in thoroughly recommending it to anyone looking for a fantastic self catering away break. »

« Excellent! Didn’t really have any interaction with staff but they provided a great stay and made it extremely pleasant for us. The room was so cosy and had everything we needed. Close proximity to the village green meant we could walk there for food, drinks or just to explore the surrounding area. Such a lovely stay that we’d definitely be returning again! »

« Lovely home made cooked breakfast to order. We were in the suite room lovely living space, futon bed was a little uncomfortable but memory foam used so may just be us. Everywhere was very clean, nice tea and coffee, decor and a well laid out bathroom. Was quite noisy in the morning and could hear breakfast being laid and noise from upstairs bedroom with people walking around. Overal a lovely stay and very friendly owner. »

« It was a lovely place to stay in the middle of nowhere. Nice room, though not terribly big, and disappointing that there was only a hand shower over the bath. Apart from that everything lovely, thick towels and dressing gowns, duvet was SO cosy. Fresh coffee and cafetiere in the room - breakfast was amazing. »

« Simply perfect, as usual. No problems in any area. This is my go-to venue for what are usually short stay visits to the area & I have no intention of staying elsewhere unless by any chance no rooms are available - & so far his has never happened! »

« Très bon accueil par le propriétaire, très souriant et à l'ecoute. Nous avons eu un problème de chasse d eau, et il a tout de suite été réactif pour réparer. Un très bon sens du service. Nous étions 5 et ils ont réussi à nous loger dans la même chambre avec nos 3 enfants. Nikel !! Location très bien placée près du centre ville et de la mer... Parfait !! »

« The room was tidy, the host was available and helpful, and the location was convenient to central Hastings... for better and worse. Free parking was available around the block in a pretty dingy carpark, but my car did fine. The ensuite shower was almost comically small, but it got the job done. »

« Food was good, but some of the service was disappointing, with not always having things in that you would require, such as not having butter at the start of breakfast. Didn't have toilet role for several days. »

« We spent 3 nights in this lovely cottage within the country Park, the cottage is incredibly well equipped in the kitchen , the views are amazing, all the way along the coast, Pett levels, Rye, Camber sands, Dungeness and in one particularly clear night France! Karen responded to queries immediately and was an excellent host. I certainly recommend this cottage. »
