Accommodation was great, especially with a dog. Breakfast was great too and I barely needed lunch as I was so full. Only disappointment was evening meal which was pretty average. For example pizza base was hard and cheese was chewy and tasteless. Shame as staff were great. For dog owners a fridge would be helpful too

During our stay was the Inns 5th birthday celebration which was great to be part of. Chris who checked us in on our arrival was excellent and made us feel really welcomed. Room was very comfortable and breakfast was great.

Hotel was in a good position for going into Ripon or Harrogate. We stayed here to attend a race meeting. Rooms very clean,comfortable & tea, coffee with biscuits, nice touch. Evening meal & breakfast excellent. Staff friendly, polite & attentive. Would definitely stay here again

Amazing stay at The Inn South Stainley. I booked this stay as a surprise for my husband for his birthday and my birthday being the week after. We’d planned to visit the tractor show at Newby hall so was ideally located. The staff at the hotel were so friendly and helpful. They even left a birthday message and treat in our room which was greatly appreciated. The food for dinner and breakfast was outstanding. I would definitely return in future.

The room and the entire property was very well presented and fresh. The restaurant was also exceptional with top level table service and a great menu. Only negatives are that road facing room was a little noisy during the morning and evening rush hours and the security light in the room was quite intrusive. We thoroughly enjoyed our one night stop over.

This was our 3rd visit to The Inn at South Stainley. We had 4 days and 3 nights and again we enjoyed ourselves. We had our dinner for 3 nights at The Inn which were filling and excellent. Likewise can be said for the breakfast we also had. The room we stayed in was in premises alongside The Inn which was of a high standard and serviced daily. Hopefully we will be back. Thanks

We had a lovely break. The staff were brilliant. We did feel it was a bit overpriced! Room, food and bar prices were quite expensive. The room was comfortable, but needed a small set of drawers and more hangers. Good bed, nice shower and it was very clean

A truly exceptional place to stay. The room was clean, comfortable and well-equipped with a lovely balcony, and the staff were very friendly. Fresh towels and toiletries were attentively refilled on the second day even without us requesting. The breakfast was delicious too, there were beautiful flowers and trees in the garden behind the restaurant. Both our baby and our dog enjoyed their time there.

This was our 3rd stay at The Inn South Stainley, and once again it was wonderful. The staff are fabulous, always cheerful, kind and helpful. The hotel is spotless. Our room (8) was great as always. The food was delicious. We love this hotel, infact we were planning our return trip on our way home! 😊
