Played breakfast at 9am was spectacular! Also gave a great chance to talk to other guests and get tips on visiting the area from the chef. Bedroom and bathroom were spacious and comfortable. There was a little road noise and you could hear the neighboring rooms a little - but not much. What a great stay!

The staff were friendly, and the breakfast was wonderful. I would recommend Light Horse Inn.
Excellent breakfast, quiet and clean. There is a music venue in the back, and a couple nice restaurants next door (one a wine bar/bistro, one a vegan place). About 20 minute walk from the historic area, about a 20 minute walk from Bolivar Heights. I really enjoyed it.
This was such an amazing time!! We loved the atmosphere, ambience, and most of all the special plated meal and carrot cake by our chef, Megan. She is an amazing person! Her personal touch made our stay even more perfect! We will definitely return with friends and family this summer for a weekend trip.
It's a very nice historical home that has been carefully renovated. It doesn't look new but it's in very good shape, we really enjoyed our time here celebrating our wedding anniversary.

Nicely redone Inn, close to lots of wonderful hiking, historic sites and great restaurants.
Wonderful stay at Light Horse Inn. Best bed and breakfast I have experienced. Clean, comfortable room. Inn is decorated in period pieces-perfect. Amazing breakfast! Within walking distance to Harper’s Ferry. Bonus is restaurant Snallygaster’s next door and The Barn behind the Inn for cocktails and live music!
Definitely recommend. Will be staying here next time we pass through.
The chef was wonderful! Very friendly and able to answer questions about the area
The room was lovely and comfortable with nice use of antiques
Easy walk into the downtown
Hard to find places to eat on a Mon and Tues unless you have a car
Wonderful inn, beautiful historic rooms, charming atmosphere. The checkin process was very easy, breakfast was wonderful, and The Barn was an absolute delight. We had a wonderful time staying here and absolutely recommend it!
Central location, yet quiet. With an early American building, every room is furnished differently with wooden floors and updated bathrooms. Fancy homemade breakfast can’t be beat thanks to chef Megan.
Not overstaffed, but addressing any concern.
Exceptional.
A note about Expedia, which I’ve used many times. Days before my stay, I had to cancel the third night through Expedia. Their system tried to charge me an extra half of the 3-night total for the privilege of canceling the third night. An extra chunk on top of the original total. Crazy.
Light Horse Inn with reason and generosity settled it behind the scenes.
Not really a good reflection on Expedia and their robots.

The rooms are very spacious and furnished with older items in keeping with the decor. If yiu are ecpecting a modern place look elsewhere. The WiFi is good. The breakfast is excellent, though the chef is the only member of the staff we saw.
Loved the beautiful architecture and furniture, it was a very charming, elegant and interesting place to stay. Rooms were spacious and comfortable, and I enjoyed the huge bathtub! We also enjoyed the barn next door with live music.
