The room we rented was simple and practical (Japanese tatami style), and the location is good towards Usa shrine visit and as a base camp for the many other temples the region has to offer. Very good restaurants are easily reachable by car. All in all it procured a very pleasant stay."

"Very friendly staff although nobody speaks English but they communicate very well despite. Breakfast was a nice selection and varied every day. Overall I would recommend this hotel if you are looking for a place that is about an hour from Kitakyushu, Oita, or Fukuoka. It is 2min walk to the main line train station too. They have their own private car park which is free on a first come first served basis but I didn't have any issues getting a space."

"Impeccable service! So we did not indicate that we have two children joining us as we always do when we book our accommodation. The owner couple accommodated us in all ways, providing the children with meals and even remaking the bed such that it fit the four of us. What stood out the most is that we have forgotten our travel adapter. When we did not respond to their email as we were out at the safari, the owner even drove out to the theme park to pass it to us. It was over 20 min drive out in a foggy weather and we couldn’t believe that he did it out of good will. 100% loved our stay! We hope to come back soon! "
