The Rex Hanoi is ideally situated in the heart of the Old Quarter and exudes old world charm. Quaint, well appointed if a little outdated for some tastes, it fits the bill for everything you want in the Old Quarter. Staff very courteous, obliging and helpful.

Amazing service, centrally located
Great location in the heart of old town. Service was excellent. Breakfast was very impressive. Pool is more of a large bath tub, but very nice. Highly recommend

I arrived to the property Friday night, which was not a good time because they close off the streets in the old quarter. I had to walk with my luggage about five minutes to reach the hotel because the taxi could not drop me off in front. this was not a good start to my stay at the hotel. The hotel should’ve made me aware that this could happen if arriving at this time on the weekends. my only reason for staying in Hanoi was to transfer to ha long for a cruise. The room was average and very small, but expected being how close it is to the lake. The breakfast buffet was very good. The staff did their best I would not return to this hotel I would select a higher priced higher rated.

I was very impressed by this hotel. The staffs were above and beyond. The only thing negative was the fact that the outdoor rooftop pool was not available during my staying especially during the hot summer of July 2022.

Highly recommend! From the staff, to the amazing breakfast buffet- everything was excellent! I stayed for 1 night, then went to HaLongBay for 2 nights and came back for 4 more nights..i was very happy. The first room i had was perfect! Big window with a small view to the street, not noisy at all. The second room had 1 window and it faced another room! A little disappointing but it was minor. I was super happy staying here! The staff are so kind, and accommodating! I would come back for sure!!

Great location
Great place to stay which is in the heart of the old quarter. The staff are great and speak and understand English. The roof is a great place to get a view of the area and the rooms are very comfortable. Just make sure you look at the description of the room because some don’t have windows that look out into the streets.
