"This is a great place. I have been coming for about ten years. The lodge has had many upgrades over the years that's made it even better. The new pool is great! The only thing is being charged so much for continental breakfast that has nothing but cold cereal, a few mini muffins, granola bars and yogurt. You use to do a nice continental with muffins, breads, fruits, boiled eggs, danishes. We did not eat breakfast here even being charged. We love the pontoon boat ( very reasonably price for one hour )"

"So much potential. The parking lot is unkempt, many facilities are shut down, there only seems to be a single staff member on site. The carpets are beaten down, the whole hotel smelled of cleaning agents, and our room smelled of cigarettes. Putting that aside, rooms were actually clean. No bugs, dirt or anything. It was eerily empty and quiet, but some might like that. The staff member was super friendly and helpful. I feel if this place put any money into recovering the parking lot and physical appearance overall that itd be a 5 star experience."

"The best thing about this hotel for me was the staff. Everyone was friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay more comfortable. I will also say that this is probably the cleanest hotel pool I have ever seen, and I felt totally comfortable having my kids swim in it. I would definitely stay here again."

"Spectacular stay here at this Lake George VRBO property. The accommodation suited our needs as we are an extended family of 19 from various parts of the country. We sought a location with a minimum of 8 bedrooms on the water and this property did not disappoint. In addition, we rented the boat for the week.A few minor issues with the premises, hopefully the owners will correct, mainly the lighting and handrails leading to/from each house are not very well maintained. More lighting on the upper stairs to the cottage would help as well. A balcony was off limits and has been for quite a while. Sad they aren’t keeping up on maintenance as this is a wonderful place to stay. One grill was inoperable, but the other grill was excellent. The foosball game was inoperable. Bath sink faucet in the cottage was faulty as well as kitchen cabinet door hinges in both the main house and cottage. I bought these issues to the attention of the property manager Deb. Hopefully the owners will be proactive. Know the boat is also owned by one of the house owners (not Pilot Knob Marina located on the same street). That aspect was somewhat confusing when we asked that the boat canopy be serviced, we thought we were renting the boat from that marina.The docks were actively utilized by our family for fishing. Much to our delight, we caught over 140 fish of several varieties. Sunsets were amazing. Beds were very comfortable. Ample supplies were furnished.I loved this VRBO!S.M."

"We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful waterfront retreat. The place was spotless, modern, and well-stocked with everything we needed - it exceeded our expectations. The view from the private deck was absolutely stunning, overlooking the lake - perfect for morning coffee or evening sunsets. The staff onsite was incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome and taken care of (especially Stephanie). The location was peaceful yet super convenient for when we wanted to kayak - we could be on the water within minutes. The one bedroom had bunk beds in it, which my 9 yr old daughter was ecstatic about. We truly enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Lake George. "
