A very quiet area

Might wake up to birds chriping because its the loudest noise in the neighborhood hot tub was very nice and the driveway was nice

Charming house in quiet neighborhood

Beds were comfortable, jacuzzi and large shower in the Master Bedroom was a plus! Kitchen was very functional as we stayed in for breakfast each morning. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again in the future! Just wished we had better weather during our visit (rained all weekend)!

Great weekend

We enjoyed our stay here. We especially enjoyed the hot tub. The neighborhood is quiet and very nice. We were only a few miles from Food Lion and a Harris Teeter grocery store. The beds were quite comfortable as well but hot tub is very large probably enough for at least six

Great location

Lovely place with a great location. Great amenities with great things to do around the area. Love the marsh next to it. Only problem I had was that there wasn't any forks, but overall it did not negatively affect my experience. It was nice and cosy inside and the views are great.

Check-in and entrance easy. Very spacious and clean. (Except spider webs outside) Everything worked TV, washer/dryer, WiFi stove etc . Would definitely rent again.

Was a lovely stay

The listing was clean and had everything we needed. Neighborhood was clean and quiet. Host was very responsive and accommodated our stay to our needs. We would recommend this listing to anyone and everyone. There’s a fire pit in the back yard, a deck with a charcoal grill, hot tub was amazing, and we didn’t see any bugs or roaches or creepy crawlers during our entire stay. Hot water and good water pressure!

Great Getaway! Amazing property/location

The host communication is excellent. The property looks just like the pictures. It’s in a prime location not too far from many known store chains. Buckroe beach is 8mins away from the property location which is a beautiful beach. The jacuzzi was an amazing addition to enjoy during our stay. I will definitely book again in the near future. Overall a great place!

Local to several things to do, i.e., outlets, golfing, beaches, parks, dining, colosseum, etc. the photos don't do the house any justice. The place is absolutely beautiful. There are a couple bumps and bruises, or were if they've been fixed, I'm not sure. But the small issues were no match for the great price and the location of the home. Our family had a blast and the property manager was easy to get ahold of. Wonderful experience and highly recommend 😊

Don't overlook this place!

What a great house! The size and layout is perfect for a family vacation! The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is nice and open, TVs and internet worked well. All the amenities needed are there, and the abundance of towels was appreciated - since the hot tub on the screened in porch was by far the best part! Decks all around overlook a quiet marshy area. The house is a little ways from the typical tourist areas, but the neighborhood is delightfully quiet and is an easy 15 minute drive from downtown Hampton. Host was very responsive and helpful. 10/10 would definitely recommend and we'll probably stay here next time we come back!

Christmas need

The house fit our need of 1 story, 2 bedrooms, and 2 baths. Some items have needed to be repaired for months ( based on previous reviews). House was clean. At check in, there was such a strong odor of whatever cleaner was used. After 30 minutes, l had a headache. The odor was gone the next morning. I would stay there sgain.

Hidden Gem in the Making!

I am HUGE on Customer Service and I will say that the owner of this property was TOP Notch in that! If you are looking for a home away from home, this will work! Unfortunately, the property was damaged by a previous occupant prior to my stay but even so, it met my family's needs. The house location is 1.5 miles away from Grandview Beach and not far from Buckaroe Beach. House can sleep 8 easily, and room for an air mattress or 3 if you need it. I appreciate the owner's efforts to appease my concerns! He really is an awesome host!

Nice option for a long weekend getaway!

We stayed here for a long weekend trip to visit family in Norfolk and to explore the Hampton/VA Beach/Norfolk area. It was the perfect size for our family and a great location for all the activities we did! The host responded quickly to any of my messages and was very delightful. I will say, if he is using a professional cleaning company, he should definitely look for a new one. We found several old food wrappers shoved under beds, behind sofa pillows, and we had to clean the fan in the master bedroom b/c there was a good amount of dust hanging from the blades. The house surfaces were clean but there could have been more attention paid to detail. Other than that, it was a great stay!

Nothing that I expected

I came down to Virginia for a friends weekend getaway to celebrate a birthday. We had chosen this property since it seemed to be cozy and in a commutable location for all the activities we planned. We arrived late on a Friday night and the entry way was not lit at all and the neighborhood is sketchy and dark. For three women, it felt very unsafe. We stayed hopeful but after inspecting the inside, we were immediately disappointed. Everything was dirty and used. The bedding had stains and crumbs, some beds only had the bottom fitted sheet, no top sheets or comforters. We found a beer bottle cap on the floor. The window curtains were crooked and broken. All the cleaning supplies were there, very old and used (including the kitchen sponge which was falling apart). There were even shoes in the closet, nothing was organized. At the end of the night, we thought of sleeping on the couch, but the couches were stained too! It was very disappointing, I did not feel safe and was disgusted with the amount of filth. We decided to call Vrbo customer service for a refund and booked a hotel instead. Never again!
