Really enjoyed the accommodations with such a beautiful and large room. Town with restaurants is close by within walking distance and the bus and train stops are very convenient! The open air onsen was lovely. Everything was comfortable and the staff was so kind! My stay at this traditional Japanese ryokan was an amazing experience. The rooms are beautiful, the staff are incredibly friendly and the insensitive were wonderful! Definitely needs renovation. I stayed with my fiancé and if he wasn’t there I wouldn’t have stayed at that hotel. I felt unsafe due to limited things being around the hotel and there was no staff after 8pm. We had to time to the buses because they came every 30 minutes . The taxis were expensive and limited. The hotel is on a main road so it’s noisy. The hot springs are in another building so you have to walk there. We walked there around 8pm and encountered many bugs and a snake. It was not a direct path and there was limited lighting as well. Also the main village is about a 10 minute walk so not much to do by the hotel.
