The room was outstanding with all the beautiful wood furniture, flooring, doors. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was spacious and well appointed. That grand staircase!! Wow!! Breakfast was filling and appreciated. The Hotel was beautiful inside and out. We would definitely stay there again and recommend it to others.

We stayed in the Presidential Suite. It's usually much more expensive but we only had to pay $135 for the day we picked. There is a pullout bed so the 4 of us slept well. The bedroom and bathroom were massive! The biggest tub I've ever seen! Complimentary breakfast was good, with nice and quiet surroundings. We went antique shopping downtown after we checked in. It was such a fun trip!

We really wanted to like the property. Some of the common areas were very pretty but ... there were hardly any amenities. The breakfast was basic continental, on the third morning we had the same stale muffins and bagels as the days earlier. Terrible. There were no common sitting areas, the rooms were bare or under construction. The hotel was almost empty, one night we were the ONLY guests. With no staff on the premises after 8pm, it felt kind of spooky. The actual room was ok, but it felt small, dark and cramped. Some (not all) of the staff were very nice, attentive, and accommodating. For example we returned to the room in the evenings and found a bucket of ice.
