Decorator color scheme and updated features makes this a beautiful and cheery home away from home. The master has a queen bed with bath and the second bedroom includes two xl twin beds. The living room features a sofa with a pull out bed with foam mattress. Ceramic tile floors throughout the condo. The fully stocked kitchen, living area and eating area provide a homey place for relaxation, watching TV, reading or playing games, etc. Sheets and towels are provided for you during your stay at the condo. Coin/credit card washers and dryers are located in the building for your convenience.
Amenities include 2 outdoor pools, hot tub, 2 restaurants on site, beach volleyball court, tennis courts, basketball court, horseshoe pit and a beautiful white sandy beach!

Relaxing vacation

This property is in a great location, close to both pools, restaurant and beach. It also had boogie boards and sand toys for the kids. The beach was so clear with gentle ways. We also left the complex and drove down the road to the food trucks which had a band, sand pills, corn hole, shops and an arcade. We’d definitely recommend and would stay again if in the area.

Homey Beach Stay

The condo was cute and very cozy. Had boogey boards, beach toys, games, books, extra blankets…it was like staying in a personal home. The property was beautiful and the access to the beach was very convenient. Would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Excellent Beach Stay

I enjoyed spending the weekend here while in town for a wedding. The place was very clean and Lynn was easily reachable. Make sure to get your parking pass before arrival to save you time at the gate.

Very clean and cute unit! Had an amazing time. Table was big enough for board games and dining!!! Close to pool and not far to walk to boardwalk for beach. Highly recommend!!!

Perfect for our needs

We loved our stay at Plantations. It was a very short walk to a beautiful beach and the outdoor pools were a great after ocean swim, and the room was clean, cute, and had everything we needed. Our teens liked the twin beds and the queen in the master bedroom was comfortable. Plenty of towels to last the duration of our stay. The owners are extremely attentive and answered every question within 10 minutes. The construction that is/was going on is mostly complete and away from the building we were staying in. There was no noise from it, nor did it interfere with parking or the overall stay. We will definitely return!

Potential not met

The place had potential. The problem is everything was under construction or maintenance. The weather shut the beach down , but the pools were then closed, indoor pools were closed(we didn't even have a key to get in the one small indoor that was open and bigger one under construction) the restaurant closed, hot tub closed, volleyball area not usable. I was charged for a towel and washcloth that we didn't even use much less "steal" and after many attempts for me to contact owner or management 2 weeks later no return call or email, nor refund if my $59. Place not too bad and may even return , when I know management is more communicative and concerned about amenities.

awesome, great relaxed trip. Condo was very nice clean and we had enty if room rhe gulf coast seafood was great as usual but the condo from the door was scraping everything you go in or out and i would recommend this condo to anyone.

Great location

We had a lot of fun here. Two pools directly in front of this condo with a volleyball pit and lots of BBQ’s. The Alligator Farm and Fort Morgan were some cool attractions. The Crazy Cajun was our favorite restaurant we tried. Matt’s Ice Cream so incredible. (The Master bedroom TV Doesn’t work all the time, it only worked on the channel it was turned on to the first time for a few days then would work again)

Excellent place with tons of fun

Great gem away from the hustle called life. Mr. John’s condo was more than we expected. He is quick to respond & very easy to work with. Cozy, relaxing, and just what was needed during the downtime away from outdoor activities. If you are looking for a place that has it all, you NEED to VRBO with him. There are 3 pools, 1 hot tub, volleyball, shuffleboard, tennis, and only a 5 minute walk to the beach. Everyone on premises was super friendly & respectful. Don’t look any further & press that instant book button already!

The condo was amazing. It was decorated and comfortable. The beds were very comfortable, but the master bed made a lot of noise. Bathrooms could have been cleaner but did the job. We had a few maintenance issues but were promptly fixed, which was awesome. Air conditioning worked perfectly, which is a huge plus! The pools were amazing and well kept. The 8 foot pool is much deeper than 8 feet though. We will be staying here again. It was a perfect getaway. When swimming on the beach, be prepared for jelly fish!! They are everywhere. And the crabs have established a home too but won’t bother you!

Pretty Disappointed

Pros: Location, Proximity to beach/pool, Layout of condo Cons: Tiny kitchen, no pantry space, WiFi, overall Amenities/supplies My family of four chose this condo because of all of the positive reviews that were given previously. I’d love to tell you that this was good or perfect, but it wasn’t. Let me say that there was a lot of things that could and can be overlooked, but not some of things that happened to us. For starters, the parking information given out was outdated, and if you don’t know, you have to pay for parking when you arrive. The directions also didn’t properly indicate where exactly to go upon arrival. I’ve stayed at The Plantation over four times, mind you. The complex is huge. So, I had to go into the main building to go pay for parking. The manager there was okay, not the friendliest but it happens. Things started out fine, just know you don’t have pantry space for anything you bring - that’s pretty common. Also, the WIFI is super sketchy - a major issue when needing to entertain toddlers. One of the blinds in the corner were broken with the handle just laying there. You could also hear several of the AC compressors outside sound like they were about to die and in desperate need of maintenance. That’s always a nice thing when trying to sleep. The first real problem I had involved the smoke alarm at 1:30AM after arrival on Friday. It chirped every 45 seconds, and I was forced to go to Walmart over 20 minutes away to get a new 9V battery for it and didn’t get back to sleep until after 3AM. I messaged the owner via the VRBO app the next morning, and never got a response, apology, or offer to get reimbursed throughout my Monday stay. On Saturday night, another issue came up involving the tenants above and outside. The acoustics are horrible, and you hear everything that goes on. I mean the running and walking across the floor and voices that speak. Everything. I could deal with noise outside from the pool, but it contradicts everything we were told about ‘quiet time’ starting at 10PM. In turn, it led to a bad night of sleep. Then on Sunday, the housekeeper tried to force her way into the condo while my boys were taking naps. She mentioned that she had comforters for the beds that were supposed to be on it to begin with. The issue here is that the condo is on an auto temperature schedule and it’s set to less than 65. Needless to say, they woke up cold and not having the comforters that we were supposed to to begin with leave
