"Beautiful location just a couple minutes walk to Castelo de Marvão. Our room was small but cosy and comfortable, and being within the walled village, it was quiet at night after the village emptied. The front desk host was very friendly and super helpful. The breakfast was one of the best we had on our whole trip. Wish we had stayed for more than one night. Would definitely return again."

"A beautiful old hotel very clean, maintained, and well run by very helpful friendly staff speaking good English. Tile work, patios, free large breakfast, dining room all excellent. Rooms beds bathrooms balconies a/c comfortable & decorated if basic. Several elevators available and running. Parking on site Clean pool but closed for season. Pleasant orderly town."

"This hotel was located right in the centre of a little town and the front desk staff was so helpful. Her English was excellent and she gave us many suggestions of places to eat and even phoned over to a car repair shop for us to fix a tire. The hotel is located along a beautiful channel that you walk along to get to the local restaurants. The room was rather small but suited our needs and was very clean. Breakfast was provided and it had a variety of cold options. The hotel was only 10 km from Marvao and I would highly recommend it if staying in the area."
