Tone greeted us and showed us around. Tavanna sent us great things to see and do on our drive there. Sure appreciated her suggestions. Once there she came by for a visit which was very enjoyable. Made it feel like home. The place was very large (two large bedrooms, a kitchen between them and a bathroom to share) and comforting. Both Tone and Tavanna met us on arrival and showed us around; the beach is truly so close! We loved making fires on the beach, collecting eggs with Tone and the Gorge walk. The apartment was well set up and the kids enjoyed having their own room. Wifi is slow (but this is NZ, so that makes sense) and there is no oven, but it was very comfortable for the 3 nights we stayed.We loved staying here with our kids and would happily do so again.
