"My family and I came back to this hotel for the second time this year. Having been there last year, we were able to notice a few things, and not for the better. Don't get me wrong, the hotel is still very nice and well maintained. My message is mostly for management. I think the staff is still AMAZING, we truly had a great time and enjoyed every second of our vacation. However,...
- Elevator was broken, at least the one next to our room which was on the second floor. So, we had to use stairs every time. It's okay for us but for a handicapped person might be impossible to do.
- Our room door broke on the second day [latch would not close, the hinge was loose], and we had to sleep with the door unlocked as the issue was not resolved. I had to put a chair behind the door as I could not fall asleep. Eventually, nothing happened but it was uncomfortable. It got fixed eventually.
-The restaurants are extremely hot; the air is bad and really hot inside.
I just wish management would take care of these issues before it becomes a bigger problem, the hotel is really nice. New Serenade Hotel just opened next door. I am sure is beautiful but so is this existing location.
Havind said that I also want to mention again that the staff is AMAZING, the FOOD is GREAT, and the rooms are really big, spacious and cold, which is what matters indeed.
