"Worth it to stay at this location over the other 2 Scandic options near the hotel for the price and the location. A bit older of a building, but still nice condition and the desk staff were extremely kind and helpful. I went in the wrong elevator and they were nice enough to come find me and direct me to the correct location."

"A historic building converted into a hotel. A great location directly next to the train station which provides easy access to the city and a few minute walk to market square. My room was modern, comfortable and I liked the bed too. My only disappointments were the lack of signage directing guests to the ramp which I s located to the left of the main entrance and the breakfast. The breakfast looks appealing but it consists of strange combinations of salads and breakfast foods. The buffet needs more fruits and some yogurt."

"Arriving in a foreign country can be quite stressful. The staff here were very welcoming and helpful which immediately took that stress away. The building was beautiful with a cool lift and pretty walkway, location was close to lots of food and shopping, and the breakfast??? Please, please, treat yourself and purchase the breakfast during your stay. I promise you won't regret it. HUNDREDS of different things to choose from including a juice bar, fresh fruit, omelet and waffel bar, cheeses, meats, pastries (oh gosh the pastries!!). I have traveled all over the world and this is the best breakfast I've ever had the opportunity to experience in a hotel. The hotel is priced appropriately and not far from the airport (maybe 20 minutes by taxi) and not far from the cruise port (maybe 10 minutes). This should be your first choice in hotels!!"
