It was a great place to stay and it had room for all of us. There was many thing we were able to do on the property (hiking, feeding the goats) and there was plenty of space for the kids to run around in the fresh air. We were also only 15 to 20 minutes away from many attractions (Fossil Rim, Dinosaur Valley State Park, Paluxy Heritage Park, Big Rocks Park) and eating (Loco Coyote, Hammonds BBQ). The land, house and location helped us foster our family's love of nature. The front porch was perfect for coffee and breakfast in the morning. The view was beautiful. We went a few hikes around the property. Our children favorite things about staying at the house were the interesting rooms and feeding the goats and Zoey the donkey. Really amazing! This was our second time here and we plan to come back again. We enjoyed the nice views, hiking, bird watching, or just sitting on the porch. Kids loved to feed the goats and the cave! The property manager, Sandy, is a very nice person and gave us lots of information. The house was big enough to for our family to have privacy when desired. Lots of room to encourage interaction with music, games and just relaxing. The plus was NO TV but internet if you needed it. The house was very clean and my 85 year old parents slept well. The ranch is quiet and a great place to relax. We played games, went to fossil rim and feed a giraffe, horseback riding, so many great activities in the area. We will come back again.
