"Absolutely fantastic!"

"Tucked in a sheltered cove and nestled in a soft coniferous forest, the Kenslynne domain hosts a cluster of secluded cottages on the rocky shores of Faraday Lake. Lynne or Glynnis will welcome you like family to stay in one of their beautiful lakeside homes. We stayed in Sharon's Lakeview Cottage, a tiny-home-like experience also known as the "Bunkie". This adorable little cabin does not have all the amenities of the other larger cottages, but is a cozy stay with its loft bed and pull-out loveseat. We walked the short stone path down to the shared dock with laddered steps down to a clear, warm lake every morning, and a few nights as well. The swimming was fabulous, the perfect balance of warm and cool against the hot August weather. The historic downtown of Bancroft is a quick 10 minute drive away, with small local shops and cafés, as well as full grocery shopping. It felt like camping in comfort, cooking local farm produce on our deckside BBQ, and taking meals in the dappled shaded swing seats by the firepit. I'm looking forward to trying the other cottages on future trips! "

"What a great week … as others stated the property exceeded expectations …. Nice and roomy.. Kitchen is super well equipped … checkin was a breeze as door code provided and easy entrance. Master has great view of lake and sunrise… 2 bathrooms with showers is a bonus… water toys and inflatables were great as was the hot tub … lots of comfy chairs on dock and deck…. Screen in room overlooks lake and is excellent for your morning coffee and reading time…Fire pit area is large and roomy and ample wood was provided. The backyard area is nice and flat for your cornhole games and whatever else you need Internet was good and fast and allowed people to work if needed and be on video calls speed was always over 60MBPS All in all an excellent property and we would not hesitate to rebook again This feels like you are borrowing a friends or family members cottage vs a rentalPlease don’t hesitate in booking this property !!!"

"This was a lovely B&B run by the sweetest couple! From the moment we arrived, we felt like a part of the family. The room was spacious and beautiful, the property was spectacular, and the breakfast was the most delicious I've ever had. We will definitely stay here again, and we recommend staying here to everyone."

"We stayed at ClamOnInn from Monday, July 14 to Friday, July 18, and had a fantastic time. The cottage was clean, well-equipped, and comfortably fit our group of seven (two families – four adults and two kids aged 11 and 12).The host was extremely responsive and easy to communicate with, which made the whole experience smooth and stress-free.The lake was peaceful and perfect for families. Our kids loved the kayaks and paddle boards, and we felt completely safe letting them explore on their own. There’s a dock in shallow water that’s great for lounging, and another floating dock in deeper water that was perfect for swimming.Inside, the cottage had everything we needed. The kitchen featured a brand-new stove with an air fryer, plenty of storage, and a water cooler that the kids loved (they’ve never drank so much water!). The BBQ was also new and got a lot of use during our stay. One of our favorite features was the balcony – a great spot to relax and enjoy the view.We would absolutely recommend this place to others and would definitely book it again in the future."

"Had a great time at this property. Check in was little unclear with nothing but owner will meet you at property. Owner wasn't there. No lockbox or instructions as to where key was. Found it eventually. Positives: Great location in a quiet bay on chandos Comfortable Small fishing boat to use and great dock Negatives:No AC or Wi-Fi Firepit is on a huge slope makes it hard to sit around Lots of steps to lake Couches could be updated All in all a great property on a great lake ! "This was a perfect cottage holiday for a young water loving family. The kids loved the sandy beach and shallow sandy bottom of the lake. We enjoyed canoeing, paddle boarding and lots of fishing and swimming. The cottage was comfortable and well supplied with kids activities. Peter responded quickly when contacted. We all had a great time"
