We loved the wood burning stove and cozy space for the family to all hang out together. Lots of pots and kitchen utensils. We hiked to st Mary’s glacier and even saw people ice fishing on the lake next to the house. It had everything we needed with plenty of space for everyone to spread out! We had the best time and it was very relaxing. If I were going to have anything negative, more light would be good and plenty of matches/lighters to light the fire place. The hike to St. Mary's Glacier was a workout but the payoff was amazing! The deck was enormous and the view of the lake was peaceful and gorgeous. It was a long drive up and down the mountain but we knew that and planned activities accordingly. We could not find a broom or mop for the floors, and there was no dish rag for wiping down counters and the table when we finished cooking and eating. Paper towels don't do a sufficient job. I felt the only downfall was communication with the host. Response time to emails was lacking (usually 24 hours ... too long) and not all questions were answered. The host went above before and throughout our stay to ensure our complete satisfaction. Traveling with young children, and a snow storm brings it challenges and Karen went above and beyond to ensure the entire stay went without flaw. Everything was nice and clean and we were able to relax. It was very challenging to get to and from (up a steep mountain and very snowy) even with a four wheeled drive car. Also, the video showed a hot tub, but there was no hot tub. We were very excited for this feature and were a bit caught off guard when there was not one. It was also a nice distance from St. Mary’s glacier which was convenient. I would absolutely recommend staying here! ##### Caterina I.
