It is located just minutes from the major attractions, shopping, and dining. This cabin is located about 16 miles from downtown Gatlinburg with easy access to Pigeon Forge. Enjoy any of the several local wineries, or make it an adventurous vacation by taking advantage of all the outdoor activities the mountains have to offer from biking, hiking, tubing and rafting, to scenic driving, shopping, or visiting one of the location events, amusement parks and more! If you decide to leave your mountain paradise you will find you are not far from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Hiking at Greenbriar, or all downtown Gatlinburg has to offer. You are also a short back road drive away from the heart of Pigeon Forge where you can enjoy Dollywood, Dolly's Stampede, or Beyond the Lens. So no matter what you are looking for in a vacation. This amazing log cabin is located away from the hustle and bustle, but not too far out. It’s far enough away to be away from it all but 30 min away from Dollywood. We loved the screened in patio thats connected to the deck. It’s the perfect spot to have your morning coffee and breakfast. The hot tub was wonderful. This was a mother daughter trip and we built a fire in the wood burning fireplace and roasted marshmallows and had a nice time relaxing there. Bring your own firewood as it is not provided. The upstairs bedroom has gas logs and that was nice as well. Beds were comfortable and the hosts provided plenty of towels for showers. The cabin was clean and all of the beds were as well. I saw on previous reviews of a mouse problem so we stored our food in the microwave/the oven & fridge and had no issues and never saw any mice or evidence of any. We will definitely stay here again! We live in the mountains and are very used to cabins and understand what to expect when being in a cabin. That being said, this place needs a major deep clean. Spiders, bugs, cobwebs, dust and pollen caked up on everything. The gazebo was so dirty that we didn’t even bother sitting in it. The jacuzzi tub in the bedroom doesn’t work. Worst of all… there were rats. We had bought food to cook during our stay and rats got into everything that wasn’t stored in the fridge. It took them 2 days to get any sort of exterminator out and it didn’t even fix the issue as we could hear the rats running around that same night. For the amount of money we spent on this place, I really wish we would’ve just picked something else. Washed linens and let house keeping know we did not need any new linens or need utensils. we just didn’t want charged for missing things. Next day when we left cabin someone entered cabin without letting us know manager was sending anyone to leave utensils. Got a message saying they were sorry and would get back to us to make it right. Waited a day and half before anyone contacted us. We were told since we stayed we were fine with everything and they would be doing nothing. We checked out early after no longer feeling safe. After sending a message letting them know we had checked out early, management threatened to charge us another day. Our cabin was beautiful easy to find. Very clean. I give it a 10 out of 10\. I will most definitely stay here again.
