This modern mid-century ranch-style retreat is filled with amenities for a perfect Lake Michigan getaway, whether you\`re looking to just relax or explore nearby beaches, dunes, and hiking trails. Ideal for families, this smart home accommodates up to 9 guests and features a spacious fenced yard with a large patio, complete with a 6-person hot tub (available year-round), fire pit, and natural gas grill. The open-plan kitchen at Sandhill Flat is fully equipped for cooking any meal. It includes a gas double oven with four burners, dishwasher, fridge/freezer with auto ice-maker, and island seating for four. Coffee enthusiasts will enjoy both a Nespresso machine and Keurig coffee maker, with complimentary capsules and k-cups. All essential cookware, bakeware, glassware, dinnerware, and utensils are provided, along with kids\` dishes and other basic kitchen supplies. Adjacent to the kitchen, the cozy living area has a 65” Smart TV with Xfinity cable, Roku, and more, plus a sofa with a queen pullout bed and two recliners. The family room, also next to the kitchen, includes a banquette-style sofa, extendable dining table for 6-8 guests, a 60” Smart TV, and sliding doors to the yard. Additional folding chairs are available, and the sofa converts to a king-size pullout bed. The home’s three bedrooms offer plenty of space and privacy. There are two queen bedrooms and a bunk room with a twin XL over a queen bed. Each bedroom includes a wall-mounted Smart TV, USB-charging nightstands, sleep machines, fans, and closet space. A full bathroom with a tub, shower, and vanity, along with all linens, bath and beach towels, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, is provided for your convenience. Laundry is a breeze with the ozone-infused washing machine—no detergent or fabric softener needed! Relax on the expansive patio with a hot tub, gas fire pit, grill, outdoor dining area, hammock, café lighting, seasonal heated shower, and adjacent large backyard surrounded by a 6-foot privacy fence, making it perfect for pets and children. Licensee must be at least 30 years of age. No bachelor or similar groups permitted. No high school, college, after-prom party, or any other underage groups allowed. Must abide by all Terms and Conditions of the signed vacation rental agreement required for rental of any Miller Beach Vacation Rentals property, regardless of booking method (direct or via a third party) Additional Guest fee applies over 6 people: $25/person per night. This covers maintenance/replacement of aerobeds, pullout sofas, extra laundry, increased utility costs, wear and tear, and more. No illegal, dangerous, or non-family oriented activities or items are permitted including, but not limited to, underage drinking, illegal narcotics, strippers, beach fires, kegs, deep fryers, fireworks, other flammable items, etc. No commercial or retail entities or third-party service providers (e.g., catering companies, DJ’s, VJ’s, rental equipment companies, etc.). No smoking inside or anywhere within 15 feet of any open door or window ($1000 fine). Maximum Occupancy is 11 individuals total, not including children less than two years of age on Arrival Date Neighborhood quiet hours are strictly enforced from 9PM-9AM; Parties / events, lack of decorum and disruptive noise will not be tolerated; If the neighbors are disturbed, Miller Beach Vacation Rentals reserves the right to ask the tenant to vacate the premises with no refund. Outdoor Music is not permitted after 9PM. Small, wireless Bluetooth speakers are permitted except during Quiet Hours (9pm - 9am). The home was clean., had everything I needed to enjoy my stay, extra towels, extra extra linens, coffee, and an espresso maker, which was my absolute favorite. We went to Miller Beach which is less than a 10 minute walk and even for the Fourth, it was relatively quiet and clean. We also went to the Dunes which was about a 20 minute drive. ##### Carla G. This is our second time here and this time we brought our doggie and she had a great time on the beach chasing the waves! The house is beautiful and the amenities are great. The check in process was easy and communication was clear. The place is spacious, clean and stocked well. I was impressed they provided some coffee and sugar packets. The beach is a walkable distance. Food and groceries are not far away. The area lacks a small vacation town feel but the house is great for a cook at home get away. The house was comfortable, and we enjoyed grilling and using the hot tub in the backyard. It was perfect for what we needed, and was within 30 minutes of everywhere we wanted to go. We loved the hot tub and fenced in back yard. We didn't plan for it this time, but next time plan to use the grill area! My only advice for the future is to add some type of mat in the tub as it is super slippery, and a couple of us slipped and fell. Also, tvs had some trouble connecting to the internet, but we didn't come to watch tv anyway. Thanks again we will recommend to others!! ##### Christina A. We had such a lovely experience with this property! It’s clean, spacious, easy to get to several beaches and well stocked with everything you could need. I loved the eco friendly touches they incorporated also. Lake street beach is so close you can either walk or drive 2 minutes and park for a small fee. We also drove to Marquette park beach where there was a great playground for littles and a little cafe. We also walked around the park and it’s beautiful. We felt safe the whole time. My only complaint was that we had trouble with local restaurants not being open when they listed online they were so the only thing we would do differently is to plan to cook and bring food. Miller Beach is a great hidden gem and I hope it develops a little more with more restaurants and shops. We will definitely come back! ##### Whitney R. The back yard is spacious! The hot tub is relaxing and although you must shower before entering, the outside shower has hot water (a plus in 50 degree weather). We did not use the fire table or the grill but both are in brand new condition. The beds and pillows are comfy as is the living room. We only left the house at the beginning of our stay for grocery shopping and lunch and then returned to the house and enjoyed ourselves. A lot of the homes on the block are being renovated and expanded and will be beautiful. The lake and the park are very close to the home and in walking distance for children and adults. She was relaxed and enjoyed her time there. The walk to the beach was a short jaunt, which was really great.
