  • Enjoy relaxing in comfort after a day shopping in historic downtown Galena or exploring the Galena Territory! Optimize family time with our fun activities including bumper pool, puzzles, board games and a giant Jenga set! This 4 bedroom townhome is nestled on a corner lot with plenty of trees for privacy. Bring your binoculars to search out the abundant bird calls that will greet you each morning! Or unwind with a comfy fire on the upper deck. A full bathroom and queen size bedroom are located on each of the three levels, with a fourth bedroom on the lower level. Main level offers a well appointed kitchen, family room, and dining area with extended seating available. Lower level offers a game room, two bedrooms (one with bunk beds), laundry facilities, and deck. Upper level offers the best bedroom view, you’ll feel like your sleeping in the trees! Great WIFI connection & cable TV, Netflix, & Hulu are available. Please note that it is a bit of a walk from the parking lot to our unit and includes 2 sets of 3 steps. Our home is not suitable for those with mobility challenges.

    Amenities include indoor pool, tennis & pickle ball courts, fitness center and game room (pool & ping pong tables). Fee based amenities include boat rentals on Lake Galena, horse back riding and 4 on site golf courses.

Girls Weekend

We enjoyed our girls weekend in Galena. The house was beautiful and was decorated so cute. We each had our own floor of the home. We enjoyed our morning coffee and evening drinks on the deck while the many birds paid their visit. Definately would stay again

Family New Years trip

We had a relaxing and enjoyable time at our VRBO. Plenty of space to spread out and plenty of space to interact and hang out together. Kitchen was stocked pretty good. Things missing that you should bring from home if you cook too would be rolling pin and griddle (for pancakes).The owners club was great and we enjoyed working out and swimming. If we head to Galena again we would stay here.

The house was extremely clean, well stocked with enough kitchen equipment and supplies, and big enough that we all had our own space. It was great to get together, but it was also the perfect setting for us to rest and relax! We all talked about how we would love to come back in the future!

Girls Getaway

A group of retired girlfriends on another adventure. Visited downtown Galena, Fall Festival and Galena Winery. Plenty of room for 7 people. Enjoyed our stay. Accommodations served our purpose. Didn’t use any of the Owners Club amenities but could have. Beautiful area. Very quiet.

Beautiful Time

Excellent spot to stay and reconnect with family! Really enjoyed having time together, played games, shopped, hiked and ate. Scenery abounds and we thoroughly enjoyed the wildlife. The rental was clean and well maintained. Very user friendly and well stocked with plenty of kitchen options, pillows, blankets, games etc. Well equipped in all areas! Such a wonderful stay! What a wonderful place to stay! Home was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The beds were super comfortable. This home was immaculately clean! Any past issues with odors have been addressed. No issues at all! We would love to stay here again! Great location and very convenient to shopping and restaurants. Best home we have stayed in Galena! Will be back!

The location was beautiful. I did not expect the parking to be as far away from the condo as it was. Behind one of the dressers had not been cleaned for a very long time. Overall my stay was enjoyable.

Great girls weekend

We stayed here for a girls weekend and it was perfect! We felt safe and comfortable during our stay. We loved being able to wake up and sit on the back porch, relax and watch the birds. It was about a 15 minute drive from downtown Galena. DThe place was very clean but there were some dead bugs on the couch and floor when we arrived. I can’t dock them stars because it is an outdoorsy area so it’s to be expected. Would stay here again. Thank you!!

The group of 8 of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this VRBO. The check in and out process was simple, communication with the home owner was was great, and the property is beautiful. The location of the home is approximately 15 minutes from Main St. in Galena. The only complaint that each of us had in the group were the comfort of the beds. All of us felt as if the beds were extremely hard and uncomfortable. We believe that each bed in the home would benefit from a foam mattress topper - this way it can be removed if someone prefers a harder mattress.

Beautiful countryside location

Absolutely loved being tucked away in the wooded area. The proximity to Galena made it perfect and affordable. We enjoyed weekend of shopping and great food! The house is as described with living room seating for a maximum of 5 and adjacent dining table if needed. We saw the game room but didn’t play games. We also didn’t partake in the clubhouse but would have if we had time. Being box elder bug season we understood and continually kept up with eradicating them throughout the house. Very nice updated rooms, kitchen, showers etc and very pretty! We would return again as we didn’t get to do everything we wanted in town between check in Friday and check out Sunday. Great stay overall!!

Weekend Family Wedding

Perfection! We LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place! My daughter and her 2 little ones had the bottom floor all to herself-the 5 year old boy was enchanted with the bunk beds and the cool lighting…The kids could wake up early and not wake up the rest of the house! Grams and Gramps got the main floor- all to themselves at night time- no stairs- and our young adult son and his wife - the beautiful upstairs bedroom all to themselves ! It was immaculate- and very well stocked. We cooked one night, and found the kitchen very well equipped. They didn’t miss a thing! We could have travelled way lighter- there were things like foil, and paper towels and toilet paper already there. They even supply pool towels! There was bird food in the fridge, and we loved to watch the birds coming to visit us at the feeder. We will definitely want to stay here again next time we come to Galena! Oh- and the price was just right.

Nice, but some problems

We were so excited for our trip and when we arrived after a long day of traveling, we entered the house and were greeted immediately with a terrible smell that never got better. We also saw crumbs on the floor and carpet and it appeared as though the cleaning crew either didn’t clean or wasn’t very thorough. There were also box elder bugs all over the house. We counted at least 40. That part didn’t bother me but my guests don’t like bugs so they were not very comfortable with it. I messaged the host and she immediately replied and offered to have the crew come back to take care of the crumbs and bugs. They did and it was better for a little bit. The bugs continued to come in throughout our stay. If you don’t mind a sour smell and bugs, this is a decent place to stay while visiting Galena. Great walking paths and nice location. Unfortunately, I would not revisit due to the smell and the fact there were crumbs on the floor. For the price, I expect better than that.
