The perfect cabin in the woods, 15 minutes away from Deep Creek. Welcome to Fern Hill Cabin with a spacious living room, kitchen, a cozy loft with a queen bed and futon and private bedroom with a queen bed. On the first floor there's a full bath and on the second floor a 1/2 bath. You'll love spending time on the screened porch or just relaxing around the campfire. A short drive will get you to all the great spots the Deep Creek area has to offer. Please be advised a 4-wheel or all-wheel drive vehicle is needed for the winter months. My recommendation is from Nov. 1 to Apr. 15\. Roads are plowed but the area can receive several inches of snow at any one time. Please be advised we provide no towels or linens for beds. Perfect place to celebrate our anniversary and retirement Loved watching the chipmunks and listening to the woodpeckers while we had our morning coffee. The cabin was perfect for the two of us. Spent most of our time on the back porch It is very comfortably laid out. Walked the trail behind the cabin. Sat at the fire pit during the day Love the isolation of the cabin. It was cozy and quiet, yet centrally located for our weekend trip. Susan was responsive and helpful any time we had questions. We’re definitely planning to return. The hosts communicated well and were accessible throughout—the house rules were minimal and common sense. Check-in was simple, and we were grateful to be allowed in a couple hours early! The cabin itself is homey, clean, and well-stocked. Couches, beds, and outdoor seating were all very comfortable. Good kitchen space. There are a few other cabins in the area, and because it was early spring when we came, there wasn't much foliage to hide them from view. However, the neighbors were quiet and we enjoyed sitting outside and enjoying the fire pit and scenery. All in all, a great experience, and we hope to come back again soon! ##### Amanda M.
