The dock had a gorgeous view with chairs and picnic tables alongside the water. If none was using the hot water it took time to reach the faucet or shower and had an odour. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The listing claimed the room contained a queen bed and a small kitchen island, both are false. The bed was a double and there was no kitchen island. The mini fridge had some white moisture on the walls. The pillows were flat an uncomfortable. The view is nice and the staff were kind.

more cleaning could be done in the cottages but overall it was good. it is a fishing type resort so it is good for that type of stay. it was sometimes difficult to get in touch with staff for bedding, restaurant was not open sunday morning for breakfast.

Great stay I would recommend this place for a holiday stat . The only thing is some of the plugs specifically the bedroom plugs did not work so if you use a cpac machine sorry no luck . Otherwise great staff , great food and I think I’ll be back for a holiday there one day for sure . Thanks

We really appreciated the location, being right on the French River, the use of the kayaks, canoes, the view, etc. What could really use improvement, though, and would have us going back, is the bathroom ceiling was in dire need of cleaning and painting, otherwise nothing to complain about the room. Sure, it's dated, but we enjoyed that rustic look.

The room was large and both beds were very comfortable. The room was clean enough, definitely not spotless. Bathroom needed maintenance, shower was yellow and had a smell. Nice location on the water. If you need a room for a night and you find this on sale, it's worth it. I didn't eat in the restaurant but the food coming out looked good.

The room had dirty, walls that were cracked in the corner and a broken bathroom fan. The room had not been vacuumed and when I called in the lady was helpful and suggested another room but I had already turned down the bed which presented a problem for them and I was also very exhausted. The place is by a beautiful lake though with kayaks and a very good dock and a sandy beach. It was very peaceful by the lake.

I've been going to this resort for 5 years now, I really don't know if I can return next year. Last year the windows didn't close and we had a nightmare dealing bugs until we put cardboard over the problem. This year, we had a rain storm and the windows were leaking so bad we had to use all the towels to clean the mess. This resort is great location, rooms are big, but A Lot needs to be done in Reno's, it's falling apart. The mattresses are sooooo stained, the bedding, bring your own, it's stained too, pillows, use your own The staff is Amazing!! So Awesome! But whoever owns this resort really needs to do some up grades and buy some new sheets
