This high-quality tiny house in Freiamt (20 km north of Freiburg im Breisgau) offers a panoramic view to the south across the Black Forest range—including the Feldberg, Roßkopf, Schauinsland, and Belchen—all the way to the Blauer near Müllheim. The new building was completed in the summer of 2022. The access path, terrace, and entrance to the tiny house are all step-free. The tiny house is conveniently located yet very quiet in Freiamt, in the Allmendsberg district (370 m above sea level). The street is generally used only by residents. On weekends, there are far more cyclists than cars on the narrow road. The tiny house is the ideal starting point for a variety of leisure activities: hikes, bike tours, shopping in Freiburg, or a trip to nearby Alsace. We’d be happy to give you tips for your outings. In terms of dining, in addition to the surrounding region, Freiamt itself has some excellent restaurants and cafés to offer.

Tiny House Description:

Tiny house with 38 m², suitable for up to 2 people. Three floor-to-ceiling sliding windows let plenty of light into the interior and provide a wonderful view of the outdoors. The highly insulated structure, featuring triple-pane windows, ensures a comfortable indoor climate in both summer and winter. In addition to the large sliding windows, each room has a ventilation window with an insect screen. Through the very spacious outdoor terrace, you enter the luxurious living area with its open-concept kitchen. The kitchen is very well equipped with a refrigerator featuring a 3-star freezer compartment, an induction cooktop with an integrated range hood, an oven, and a dishwasher. A large oak table (75 x 160 cm) and 4 comfortable chairs complete the open-concept kitchen. The cozy living area features a two-seater sofa (sofa bed, 130 cm wide) with a side table and a stereo system with Bluetooth connectivity. The bathroom includes a walk-in glass shower, toilet, sink, and a lighted makeup mirror. A washing machine and dryer are also built into the laundry cabinet. The bedroom features a very large built-in closet, 60 cm deep, with sliding doors. The solid oak bed measures 160 x 200 cm and has separate slatted frames and mattresses. A flat-screen LED TV with satellite TV and internet is flush-mounted into the bedroom wall. The tiny house offers free internet access via Wi-Fi and additionally via Ethernet ports. All rooms are heated by underfloor heating. The living areas feature oak parquet flooring; the bathroom has stoneware tiles. Outside, you’ll find a garden table, 4 chairs, and 2 sun loungers. A 270 x 270 cm cantilever umbrella provides shade in the outdoor area. Pets are not allowed. A free parking space is available for your vehicle. If you drive an electric car, you can charge it at our wallbox if needed; cost: €0.50/kWh (as of 01/2023). Bicycles can be stored in our lockable shed. The shed is equipped with outlets for charging e-bikes.

Outdoor area: Patio with a garden table, 4 garden chairs, and 2 sun loungers. A 270 x 270 cm cantilever umbrella is available for shade in the outdoor area.
Smoking is permitted only outdoors.
Parties: Parties and events are not permitted.
Quiet hours: Guests must keep noise to a minimum between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM.
Pets: Pets are not allowed.

Occupancy: max. 2 people (separate sleeping arrangements available: double bed in the bedroom / sleeper sofa in the living room)

Minimum stay: 3 days; 7 days during peak season (approx. mid-June to the end of September)

Check-in day: Any day during the off-season; Saturday is the check-in day during peak season

Key handover: Usually in person. The keys can also be picked up from a key safe (e.g., for late arrivals).

Information on cancellation policies:
Cancellations made up to 30 days before arrival are free of charge. Cancellations made later will be charged at 90% of the total cost.
