The cottage does have a bit of noise from a nearby major road, the patter of rain on the roof, and the creaking floorboards, all which added to the charm of the place. The location is very convenient to downtown Fredricksburg, and was within walking distance of the Sunset Grill (which will soon be moving to E. Live Oak Dr.). We played cards with friends at the table in the front room and relaxed on the porch a few times. This quaint gem is Fredericksburg perfection. The owner did a lovely job restoring and furnishing it. The management company, however, needs to step-up their game a little. We were served spoilt creamer, the tv reception wasn't happening, and we were denied checking in a mere fifteen minutes early.
