Although the room was described as small, I was surprised at just how small it was. I had to leave my travel bag and camera gear behind the room door to allow access around the bed and to the en suite. The 'dressing table' and bedside cabinets were intended to be chic but more resembled part of a job lot of salvaged items which had been treated to look distressed. The 'dressing table' was similarly disappointingly small with no space to place personal items there. It more resembled Monty Don'd potting shed table. Also, the 'wardrobe' or what was passed off as one, was little more than a couple of lengths of 25mm pipe about 250mm long connected by two 90 degree bends to form a open hanging space. The architect's and designer's intention was to create a thrustingly chic boudoir which, in my opinion, failed. It provided a clean, double comfortable bed for the evening.
